south chagrin tempo

Comments:
ran a steady-state tempo thing out at south chagrin. i was going to just do 25 minutes, but then i forgot my watch. i decided to carry my phone and use the runkeeper app, which would give me instantaneous pace and a bunch of stats at the end. then i also realized i didn't have socks, so i ran without them. sand got in my shoes and scraped my feet, but luckily i didn't notice until after the run. so i also planned to do the tempo out at the polo fields. when i got there they had some huge tents set up and a bunch of trucks, so it was clear there was something going on. i was going to just run around the outside, until some security dude told me i couldn't-- i guess they're filming a movie or something? so i ran a few loops around the part that wasn't blocked off, then headed back along the bridle trail. i changed my mind and decided to do 4 miles, but i was feeling good, and just ran 4.3. then there was still a lot of run left, so i ran around the reservation. it was kinda hilly. then when i got back into wyatt's car, the emergency brake wouldn't turn off, so i sat for a bit and ate my sandwich while trying to figure it out. but it turns out it turned off fine, the signal on the dash just wasn't working. so that thing beeped at me the whole way home. in conclusion, a lot of things went wrong, but i just kinda rolled with it and it was a good run.
