Started run at 11:15pm. I decided to run for 3 miles today because I did a 5 mile run yesterday and I don't want to do too much and then not enjoy it. I put my running pace up from 6.0 miles per hour to 6.2 miles per hour and I really felt the difference but I kept going because I knew I had less miles to run. My times were
R-3.5/W-1.25 and it was really quite tough to keep it up tonight (I had a few wee 10 second rests!)but I think I will persevere with this on my 3 mile runs. I'll stick to 6.0 mph on my 5 mile runs for now. I think I'll do a wee pattern of 3,4,5,3,4,5,3,4,5 (miles) day-by-day and see how I go. I enjoyed tonight - finished watching the last 2 mins of Slumdog Millionaire before I started my run and started on 21.
