Exercise Type: Run

Ran around bldg. C here at BSS. I ran a one mile warmup - 5:36, then I ran a quarter pretty hard to see what shape I'm in and I was pleasantly surprised with a 65. I guess all these high miles really are paying off. However, I was suspicious of my measurements, so I measured it in the car and I think it was a bit short. I thought 7 laps around the building was a mile, but the car said 7.5 laps are a mile. I did the math and that would equal a 6:00 mile warmup, and a 69 second quarter, probably more realistic. The pace felt comfortable though, so I am optimistic.
Now for the bad news: my right achilles is really sore, so I had to cut the workout short. We'll see what I can do for a long run tomorrow, I may have to postpone it.
