Ok i'll admit i did have a large cup of coffee from starbucks... but that still doesn't compare to the onslaught of stimulants from 3 servings of preworkout.
175lb bench, got 3x8 then 1x5. No pressure. since i'm kind of hitting a plateau i'm planning to deload to 155 and rebuild from there.
then i did 3x8 incline DB press, 60lbs. felt a bit weird. poor chest activation on this. tbh the incline barbell gets my pecs better. then did 2x10 95lb incline to finish off pressing.
Lateral raises. goddamn 40lbs felt so easy. I was expecting 10reps to be tough but i kept going, did either 11 or 12. before I could start the next set the veale chick said they were closing and tried to hustle me outta the weight room so i did a super dropset from 40. 12 reps then like 10 reps w/ 30 then 10 w/ 25 then 10 w/ 20. mouth got so dry during this. good pushworkout. althought i didnt progress on the flat press i had an enjoyable push workout which hasnt happened for awhile.
also my LOA stringer tank finally arrived. looked swoll in it after laterals. good thing i ordered a large.
