How to clear your head

June 13, 2014 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
I decided that, enough was enough, I was going to go do something hard in the midst of all the hanging out (ahhh feeling so antsy). Plus, before the run I was really feeling the need to clear my head/ get some alone time.
Heading out, I was feeling a little down and overwhelmed by everything but as the run went on, I started loosening up (physically, mentally, emotionally). I ended up doing fun zig zags around our lovely neighborhood until I found myself at Lake Dr, right along the beach. I sat at the beach looking at the water for a while then picked myself back up, head clear and body happy, and went back home.

When I got home, I explored and found that across the bridge was a school with a beautiful green field. I felt great so I decided, hell, why not do some striders!? I did 8 long, awesome-feeling striders, 5 pull-ups (concentrating on good form), and the crunch progression (with 15 pushups between each set and 30s per crunch) when I got home.
