Disappointing end to a disappointing week. Doctor said I can't up the mileage for a few weeks, and then I can start to do so as long as it doesn't hurt. My knee was feeling good at the start today, so I decided to do my first progression run of the summer. As soon as I started, I felt really sluggish and just downright slow. Worked my way up to a more respectable pace after 30 minutes and then tried to drop the pace twice on the way back home, two 10 minute-ish segments. I made sure to maintain 2-2 breathing for threshold pace, but I felt SLOW. It was quite sad actually. Dropped it down again anyways and then my stomach decided to quite on me, so it was painfully churning the whole way back. Probably only a whisper under 6 minute mile pace, which is sad, but hopefully next week will go better for me.
