Marathon Sports 5 Miler

Comments:
Ran the 5 mile race today. Conditions were not good, windy and rainy. Got lucky and got a spot on the starting line so I didn't get boxed out at the choke point out to Wellesley Ave. went through first mile too fast, eased it up on the second. Went through 3 miles in 17:08, almost PRing in a 5k. Last mile was very difficult, could really feel endurance depleted. Goal was to break 30 minutes, so I was very happy with my time. Good race to run to actually feel what a 5 miler is like, since that's all I'll be racing for cross nowadays.
