Mark Berenson accepted my invitation to Arlington and at 9am we did the nearly same loop I did when Glory Days was cancelled last year. It involved lots of climbs and near constant rolling hills: 36th-->Military-->Old Glebe--Glebe-->Williamsburg-->Powhatan-->Kirby-->Chesterbrook-->38th-->Vermont-->35th-->Military-->Pollard-->Roberts-->Home. We started easily and picked up a bit at the 40-minute mark. I felt well within my capacity the whole time. We stretched and Mark was on his way to Arkansas when I did 50 pushups (I'll try for 60 next week), 1:30 flutter kicks, 2:15 planks, 100 crunches and 50 lunges.
