Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
After doing the usual warmup, we did some strider drills to get the cardio we need without too much mileage. Then I ran the Wisconsin/Western/Chesapeake route with Noah K, Silas, Charlie, Noah B, and some of the other freshmen. Once we got back we did some strength work, including super people, planks, pushups, sit-ups, and bridges (I think?!). While I am happy with the progress I have made endurance wise, today reminded me that I have a lot of work to do in regards to speed. Hopefully I can use this season to gain some strength as well as endurance and start spring track an overall more rounded runner. The knee was barely noticeable today, thanks to an extensive icing session.
