Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
After a bad day that I have decided to be caused by too much work and not enough running, I finally headed out at 5:10 with my dad. We ran around the block and made our way through the warmup routine (he's getting better). Once we had finished it was already fairly dark and surprisingly cold. I jogged towards Mazza with him and we went our separate ways. I didn't really have a game plan, so I ended up weaving through the friendship heights area. It was a bit of a strange run: my movements were quite fluid and comfortable, but my breathing was a little bit off (I'll just blame it on the cold), and this was my first weekend run since cross country ended, making it my first solo run in the dark. Because of this I was much more aware of my surroundings and thereby got to observe my neighborhood in a different light, literally.
