Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Wanted to get one more country run in before we left, but my brother was pretty adamant about getting back to civilization, so I settled on a quick hill workout with my dad. Near the beginning of yesterday's loop I had encountered a fantastic hill that I planned on returning to. We both jogged over, reaching the top of the hill and descending on the farther, steeper side. I ran the hill 5 times, going up one side, jogging down the other face, and repeating. One side was steep and relatively short, and the other had a longer, gentler incline. It was a perfect medley. I just wish that I had done a few more. Form wise, my legs felt good, and my turnover is definitely getting faster and stronger.
Glad that I could get my dad out for a run, and hope that today was simply the beginning.
Note: the distances are estimated. It is really hard to map something that far in the country a week later.
