Comments:
I was pleased with the mile, I was able to split something like 68, 72, 70, 70...I just would have liked to close better. I think I ran to my current ability here, and while at this point in the season I envisioned myself being faster, I also have to remember to be patient and that I had to start from scratch at the start of the season. The 2:11 honestly just sucked. My legs were tired, tight, and I felt like when I tried to accelerate I couldn't open up or get any momentum going. With the exception of spring track my senior year though 2:11 would be a fairly standard time for me off a double (or even fresh), so in that regard it's a little less concerning, but at the same time it's still way off of my PR.
