Comments:
Second hard day of the week. Still sore from Monday, but I loosened up as the run progressed. We were told to tempo the hills, which isn't exactly an easy task on the Satellite Loop. I was with Charlie most of the time, behind the larger group, but, as I've been told and have now internalized, today was about running your own tempo, not struggling and over-pushing to stay with people. While I could have maybe maintained a better pace on the Rock Creek hill, the rest of the hills on the way back felt pretty even. Went past Petes on Fessenden and wove through the neighborhood with everybody before turning back with Ana, Katherine, and Charlie.
6 Striders. Happy to say they felt lighter and easy than any previous ones.
