I'm trying to stay on Kate's good side, so I've been trying to run when she definitely won't catch me. Today I opted for a run during my lunch break. No Kate. Still a bad idea.

First of all, I forgot to bring running clothes, so I had to do a workout in a dress shirt and slacks. I also didn't realize, but it's HOT when you run at noon. I didn't have sunglasses, and on every other stride, my metal leg would glint a huge glare that threw me off. I came back with a sunburnt nose and ears and the sweatiest pits I remember having in my whole life. Even my prosthetic was dripping.

I actually stunk up the whole office enough that they sent me home. Progress! Plus, I made it a solid 4 miles. It took me an hour, some chaffing, and a risk of skin cancer, but I strode comfortably my whole lunch break.

But now I'm hungry.

Probably not going to do this again.
