Bethesda Loop

I wanted to try and make this ride more of a work out. I tried to cut all coasting except when going down serious hills and kept my gear high except on this one hill on MacArthur Rd which would be near impossible to do in high gear. I also rode this route faster than I have in the past. There was a lot of pollen in the air and that wasn't fun, but it was a beautiful day.
I got home and did my strength work and I was like I can just do my progressions in the living room which I thought was really clever because of reasons that I could get into about my house but I will spare you all. I was half way through my strengthening and my mom gets home from her run and then comes into living room and is all surprised to see me in the middle of my crunches and she says, "oh hey," and then gets down and starts her own crunches work out. It was just a really weird moment of realization that I was becoming my mother. We had both independently gone on our own rides/runs at 9:00 am without realizing the other one was going to work out and then come back and independent from each other decided that they were going to do strength work today in the living room when we have a work out area in the basement. Also with the nutrition talk when we were told to eat more protein with breakfast, I thought that I could eat a hard boiled egg with breakfast and then I remember that for about 2 years my mom had eaten a hard boiled egg with breakfast everyday. It's all very scary.
Well I did
3 sets of crunch progressions (1 minute each)
3 sets of push up progressions (2 each but 3 for the last set)
Plank progression (1 minute each)
Plank leg lifts (10 each)
