May 3, 2015 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
worked all morning to come up with a near west side route to hit as many big parks as possible. it worked out pretty well-- got a little lost at the end, but altogether a good run. it was pretty hot today, for the first time this year (at least for a long run).
started out from the house, then headed west on bridge to 52nd, then down to the michael j zone park across lorain. came out the other side to 65th, which i took through gordon square over to the pedestrian tunnel at edgewater. did a nice big loop around the park there, which included lots of dogs, bbqs, and a restroom break. ran out of the park back through the tunnel and followed close to the shoreway over to w 54th, which i took over to franklin. took that over to fairview park, then made my way to the detroit bridge. crossed over and turned down into the flats and hit a few parks along the river there, including a section of the towpath, before hopping a fence to come out of the flats right on the edge of tremont. then ran home.
