GLR Day 2 - Run 1

Weather: 50s, sunrise/some clouds

Comments:
Leg B-1 (listed 5.9 miles, actual 6.09-.1 (gps watch of wayne state guy, gmaps pedometer, mapmyrun.com)). Goal was to run this leg fast, had to run pretty quick from the car to the start to make it on time, legs not used to running at 6 am, 6 guys jumped out in the lead and figured I couldn't stay with them so settled back into next pack, which slowly dwindled to just 2 (wayne state guy). No clue on any splits, somewhere after mile 4 wasn't feeling the best and figured I'd have to drop, but turned around and saw no one, so basically made sure I didn't get dropped (luckily there was a big downhill a half mile later). Finished leg in 8th in 33:45, good amounts of hills, overall uphill for first 4 miles, overall downhill for last 2, net gain/loss of -5 ft. Would have set new 10k pr if leg had been slightly longer. Run was on dirt/sand roads (best footing in the tire tracks, not so great outside of it).
