Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Because it was pouring rain and windy, I decided it was a perfect day to ditch ASCI and go on the probably abandoned golf course. I saw a few people, but luckily I was running in the wrong direction, so I just passed them, and the rain seemed to have scared everybody off by the time I got back. The course was actually a really great place to run. Good, CCT like paved path, a lot of flat terrain but also some nice hills, varying in length. Not to mention the view of a well-manicured golf course. The wind and rain felt pretty resistant at times, but it was also exhilarating and really fun. I almost made it back to the Wisp parking lot at the turnaround point, but instead of doing a slightly longer run and just running two loops of the golf course, I just turned around, as I wasn't quite sure how much the path winded on the last stretch. I felt fantastic and got into an easy, relaxed rhythm. Besides on the hills, I could have kept a conversation going. So glad to have had another one of these runs. I know they don't come around often, but I certainly wish they would.
