July 9, 2015 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
It was really humid today. I kept thinking the skies would open at anytime, but the rain held until after our run and only stuck around for 15 minutes. Ran with Silas and Anthony, Danny, and Clayton from STA. We went down Garfield, turned left on 34th, went up Cathedral, and then turned right on 36th to take the back way. The only deviation from the GDS version is that we took Yuma from 37th to 38th, not Upton. Turned right onto Nebraska, then right again on Connecticut. Took Macomb up to 34th, and then left on 34th back to Garfield. I was dreading the Macomb hill, but it was a lot shorter than I anticipated (I guess I'm used to running all the way up to Wisconsin from Connecticut), and I actually felt pretty relaxed. My breathing was the easiest it's been all week, but my hands and feet felt really hot, and I wanted nothing more than to stop and take off my shoes. Perhaps I should get some thinner socks (and shoes, in the future). Going to Cleveland tomorrow, so I guess that will be my day off.
