Exercise Type: Run

Hiked Old Rag, out in Shenandoah, which was really beautiful, and really fun. One long part is a rock scramble, which I love, and also happen to be kinda good at :) the hike was more tiring than I had remembered, particularly with a heavy backpack for part of it (granted I carried it more on the way down than the way up, but still.) It was hot, but not as bad as DC, thankfully.
...speaking of DC, I went on a really nice night run with Julia Smith. it was really nice of her to wait for me till 8:30, and I definitely wouldnt have done this run without her. I think this is my first actual night run, and it was exciting, although not nearly as cold as I had hoped it would be. anyways, I felt really good, much better than I expected to feel. By the end I was hungry and a little dehydrated, but the pace was conversational the whole time, and I never really felt strained. I stretched afterwards and my muscles are definitely tight, but all in all, pretty good! I also wore my new shoes for the first time (exact same as my old ones.) They felt pretty good mostly. The balls of my feet were oddly warm, but it was still fun to be in new shoes.
