Hot Again

Felt pretty tired and dehydrated all day so decided to focus on indoor strength work-- heat and recent slowness seemed to rule out heading down to STA.
Strength: 1 min planks, 15 leg lifts, clams, single leg bridges, crunch progression
Then ventured out for 3 mile run, supposed to be at tempo pace but ended up not even close. At least I finally found a watch so I should be able to start timing runs more exactly. But the heat was brutal and an ice cream truck was driving in circles around my neighborhood, taunting me w its hellish jingle
This run ended up so slow I did some more strength work when I got back: another set of planks, leg lifts, leg bridges, and clams.
Can't wait to get out to the mountains in a few days, hopefully the change in scenery (and humidity levels) will make training a little less painful!!
