Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Spent most of the day on our annual trek to Alice Lake, nestled a little higher in the mountains at the end of a beautiful trail. Took us a little more than 5 hrs including short stop for lunch, and I think it was around 10 miles round trip. My legs felt pretty beat up afterwards though, who knew walking could be so tiring! Too sore to attempt a full length run so I just jogged the two miles from the trailhead back to the ranch. Felt a little more loose after that (and a dip in Whitefish Pond, which felt equivalent to an ice bath, all the water here is just a step from the alpine glaciers and you can definitely feel it.)
