Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
An hour long trail ride and then an afternoon of swimming/sunning at Redfish Lake combined to make me feel particularly sluggish on this run. I think Redfish should count as pretty substantial cross training though; I spent a good combined hour swimming out to boats and back to shore (not to mention sprinting off the docks) with Rach and Ben. Also feel like I might have dislocated my hip trying to execute a particularly cool dive off the highest pier, which probably contributed to my slowness.
So exhausted when I got back I opted for a slow two mile jog out to the gate from our cabin. Added on a little more racing B and my cousins out there again in the evening; Ben can actually beat me at some of the shorter distances now, is he getting faster or am I getting slower?? Plan to take a rest day for our drive to Denver tomorrow, hopefully I'll be able to keep my motivation up under slightly less spectacular mountain views :/
