I thought the time trial went really well for me. I took the first mile out at 5:53 which was pretty good. I pulled away from Simon and Cole right around the first mile mark, and started pushing myself on the gentle downhill through the trails. I heard Liam shout really loudly, later I heard it was because the other boys were "asleep", and that motivated me because I didn't want them to catch up. I had a glimpse of Ian going into the trail to Everest, and I pushed, but then slowed down a little on the uphill. When I got to Everest I just ran. It hurt badly but it was easier than I remember. The hardest part was to keep running on the flat ground at the top, but after about 20 meters I managed to find my groove again. I felt really good going all the way down into the finish line.
