so sad to have missed salesianum yesterday :( sounds like everyone was awesome :)
drove to sarah's house to do a tempo with her and abby and we ran down the tilden hill to pierce mill and hten did a tempo along the bike path towards the zoo, then back up the tilden hill and another 5 minutes on the flat of connecticut. Honestly though I'm not sure if I can even justify logging this as a tempo. I think I was going closer to steady run pace on the flat, though i certainly felt awful. (also I turned around a bit late accidentally) then I got to the hill and went halfway up at a snail's pace, far slower than steady run pace. then I realized I had forgotten my sweater so I had to go back down the hill. I was reinvigorated the second time up and by the time I got to the halfway point (the second time) I realized that I had more in me and I sped up for the second half. then another 5 minutes on the flat and 6 and a half minutes of cooldown. My lungs were really sore after, though I only had one bout of coughing during the workout. though I was alone almost the entire time it was nice to have people to start out with and to know that abby and sarah were nearby. also I saw Thea walking with her family.
mileage is very much a guess, mapping was difficiult
