Timing the Market (and by market I mean rain)

October 3, 2015 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: off and on mist, colder, but pleasant outside of the flood.

Comments:
Originally was planning on doing a long run through the trails I usually frequent when its not pitch dark out. However since it's been raining for the last s week solid, and some of the trials I run on circle a couple small ponds this turned out to be a bad miscalculation.

I was semi nervous about this outcome for the first couple miles of the run getting to the trails. Once I got there I encountered more and more water. After fording the first approximately 6" deep section of trail I got to a stretch that was like 50 meters long and I decided fighting it wasn't worth it.

Turned around and went to my night loop which is pretty much all roads. Also afforded me an opportunity to explore some at the end of the route for when the runs get longer.

Only issue with changing mid run was my distances got screwed up and my math skills while running and listening to podcasts apparently aren't that sharp. Made the way back easy cuz I got to take the most direct route instead of adding on loops like I had planned. Overall solid long run.

Also did a good job timing the rain as while my feet got pretty wet I didn't actually get rained on at all on the run.
