Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Finally did the full Glover Archibald/Battery Kemble loop I mapped out a couple weeks ago! Took Glover to the second intersection and then ran up past Foxhall to Battery Kemble, which I took to the end. Unfortunately I must have blocked out the torturous uphill slog at the tail end of this run, that didn't feel the greatest, but my legs felt a lot fresher overall than I'd expected them to be after yesterday. Generally I felt extremely good throughout this run, even after getting lost for a few minutes in that hilly neighborhood maze behind Key. I think an hour really is my ideal run length. But since this was a long run I extended out a little past Westmoreland at the end, which ended up giving me a solid 1:17 on my return to chez Page. Also jogged a few minutes of the dog walk right after bc Rocky was in a frisky mood. Some lingering inner right knee pain but otherwise felt no ill effects. How have I still only caught one leaf?!?!
(Mapping this will take forever but maybe I'll do it later, this definitely felt like a good amount of miles though, a pretty substantial distance, a journey of some length)
