I think you can tell how much I enjoyed a run by how quickly I logged it when I get home. I've been home for approximately 10 minutes.
This a fun workout with the Samosa Squad. Started out with 4xhill but ended up adding on 3 more. (we didnt get the chance to do an 8th because everyone was going over to AU. At that point I didn't really want to do an 8th but kind of did since we were already so close.) The first 4 or 5 felt really awesome. My legs were tired and I was breathing hard at the top of the hill but I would feel great by the time we got back down to the bottom. The last couple I was definitely more tired for but it was still manageable. Then Lulu and I, the only remaining samosas, joined up with a few other groups and headed to AU. Decided to do my hard mile as a way back to school rather than around the track because I didn't want to keep Ana waiting for too long. (Plus it would have been demoralizing to get lapped.) The mile back was exactly the same as the first mile of third battle (7:32 according to the very nice Potomac coach.) I didn't feel great but not terrible either. My lungs felt a little constrained as well. Anyways it was a fun day. Really nice to get outside and go on a real run. shoutout to Lulu for doing the entire thing with me and motivating me to do more hills and the mile.
