I went to Anthony's chiropractor today and I'm very hopeful about running soon. It seems that theres both long term and and short term solutions to this. In the long term I need to strengthen my glutes and my VMO muscle because right now I'm relying too heavily on my quads and inner calves and I'm running too much on the outside of my foot. In the short term, he can do what he did today. There was this little electrostatic machine that felt like little tiny needles. After that he separated my IT band from my quad muscle, because they were previously too close together, which was pretty painful. Anyways, I'm supposed to go back twice next week and hopefully I'll get to run as early as next weekend! I'm very excited!
This afternoon I ellipticaled and did the strength exercises he gave me and rolled.
