I ran on the way home from the doctor. It was really nice out. I'm definitely not in good shape though. I think I decelerated throughout and I didn't feel nearly as good as I'd like to at the end of a 19 minute run. I need to have really low expectations for tomorrow. Speaking of which, the doctor officially said I can race tomorrow! He also said that for the next week or so I should only be running 20-25 minutes. (Although I can run how I feel, so that number is adjustable.) I am allowed to do workouts but I'm supposed to take an off day the day after.
for strenght i did the doctor's exercises plus push up and crunch progressions and did a long stretch to avoid working on my spanish essay.
I'm nervous, as always, to race tomorrow. Racing is not my favorite aspect of track by any means, but racing is way better than not being able to race.
