Comments:
A very encouraging run. This was 2.8 more miles than I have previously run and my last 10 miler was rough. I felt good throughout and really didn't hit major muscle fatigue even through the end. Took an energy gel at 40 min and again at 1:20. I was aiming for something around 2:05, not wanting to push the pace too much and put completion in doubt. This pace was comfortable and what I will probably aim for in the marathon...possibly a bit more conservative there. All around, hard to imagine doubling this distance, but I never would have imagined being even able to do this much.
