really nice steady run

I was the only girl not doing the workout but that was ok because Julia was here!!! I ran back from AU with her but she had to go. It was really nice to see her and hopefully I'll be able to run with her over the summer. Luckily Abigail showed up at just the right time and we ran together for a little while. I enjoyed catching up with her as well although I kind of felt like I was spewing and talking the whole time so hopefully I didn't annoy her. I feel like I haven't done a real steady run in a while and I was worried I wouldn't be able to anymore but I actually really really enjoyed this and felt good for most of it. I felt really bad on the warmup to AU but much better once I actually got going. I've really missed steady runs and I can't wait for summer training when I'll be able to do so many. my shins hurt at the very beginning but I didn't feel them at all and forgot about them for the rest of the time which is very exciting. I was nervous that they were going to come back in the summer and I wouldn't be able to xc but now I'm more hopeful that the break will take care of it.

I got an email from the Willliams coach today that included a roster for the team next year. Naturally I stalked every single freshman girl on athletic.net and I was dismayed to find that they are all really really fast. Hopefully they don't stalk me and see my crappy xc times.
