Ok... this going defines the pinnacle of frustration. So I run a 5K were I end up inhaling corn starch, damaging my lungs and throat, and after running for the first time in 5 days, I have totally lost about all of my endurance. Looks like this summer is going to be comprised initially of getting back up to speed. My first mile was run at a 6:44 pace, per-usual, but then my second went down to an 8:01 pace. It was pure hell, and it felt as if I was hitting the wall; my legs felt like they were about to give out, as if I was going to collapse. I also had to walk the remaining .6 miles of my route...
