Comments:
After a one mile easy warm up...
I want you to run 6 miles at s tempo pace effort but starting at around 8 min pace and trying to speed up or increase effort each mile thereafter.
6 miles at a hard effort is a lot in this heat, so I would really really make sure you have liquid and enough fuel in the
system...
Cooldown 1 mile after for a total of an 8 mile day.

ok.. did the 6k progression run.. but only progressed on the first three miles. 7:52, 7:47, 7:42 ... got dehydrated a bit, and did mile repeats on the way back. mostly around 8 min miles.
in the afternoon, ran 5K at approx 7:50 min pace.
