Comments:
Went to STA for the first time this summer for my first run after a week and a half of swimming. It was so great to be there and see people again. I was excited to see a lot of fellow alums showed up.
Anthony tricked me into making sure my run was really slow and short by assigning me to lead the shortest group. The desired pace in the group varied so I mostly stuck back with the kids who had fallen behind. There was one little ncs freshman who got dropped who I was impressed with. She decided to keep going even when some people had stopped despite lagging behind the group. Also got the chance to catch up with Hannah, which was really nice. I'm really looking foward to running tomorrow, hopefully a little longer and faster. Luckily this is a down week in the schedule, so that should help to ease back into things. My knee hurt but loosened up as we went on. Would have liked to have kept going but Anthony was right to hold me back.
strength at STA was plank rotation, dead bugs (2 sets), clams, single leg bridges, and seated leg lifts. I also climbed with Abby earlier, which felt unbelievably tiring at the time. We did some planks while we were there in an effort to help Abby do more strength.
