Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
There's a cool park we were planning to explore so Ana, dad and I ran there while my mom met us there. What we didn't know was that it's entirely uphill to get there. So we ran over and then ran in the park (dad gave up at this point), also a very steep uphill and finally got to a beautiful point overlooking the city. We could see all the way to the ocean. Definitely worth it. The hills actually didn't feel bad, which was really pleasant. I think we maintained a decent pace even on the steep bits. It felt kind of difficult at points but I didn't ever really feel tired out. Being in Spain I've felt like I'm suddenly in way better shape, which I think is a function of the weather and the fact that we have to stop a million times every run. Every corner is a stoplight. We jayran as much as we could but there's still a lot of stops. Still, most of the stops are short and I didn't ever really feel like I needed them. One of those runs where you don't want the light to be red, which is an extremely infrequent occasion at home. Knee has been feeling really really good. I'm getting excited for the season! Strength was crazy planks, single leg bridges, and PT.
