Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ive been really happy with how these past two time trails have gone. I haven't been able to push myself very well. After this one especially I felt like I had so much left in the tank so I think I could have gone faster (but easier said than done right). The most important thing for me that I have taken from these time trials is finally enjoying myself racing again. In track I found it really hard to get excited for a race just because I had no training and my times reflected that whic h was just disapointing to go through every week. Although I'm not near top shape right now, I still feel stronger and am just able to enjoy myself more. Starting to get my confidence back. One thing that I definitely noticed was that the down hills really brought the pain in my leg, probably coz I'm hitting the ground with much more force. I have been walking down the majority of hills on our runs to avoid this feeling.
