Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Today me and Lila went on the grape run...yet again. I'm pretty sure we've done that run like a million times. haha:) Lila is practically in love with the grapes--well so am I! (They are SO good they taste exactly like grape juice!! Oh my gosh:D SOOO mouth watering) But I think we should branch out a bit and go on some different runs...especially since the grapes are super close to the school, its not really a good work out...
My shin splints still hurt, but I'm learning how to ignore them. I've been icing them and massaging them, and that's helped. I'm glad they are feeling better. I think that having them was actually more of a blessing because its gotten me more mentally strong. I feel so...hmm, i dont know, its hard to explain, but I just feel stronger because of them...which sounds stupid because they suck so bad but I do. :)
I hope tomorrow's race will go well. I feel like I am already psyched out about how hard it is going to be, which I totally DIDN'T want to happen. I hate that. I think tomorrow I just need to take it a little bit at a time, not worry about how far I still have to go or who is in front of me, just focus on where I am and run for God. That's my main goal for this race, and all races really. Time to represent!
