well we had a storm overnight and woke up to perfect weather for running. the air was dry and it was a bit cool. we vanned to a parking lot and did long runs from there. I started out with a slower group and went up some really long hills and ended up with another group doing the same route but faster so I went with them and we went down a really long downhill stretch. at the bottom a couple of other freshmen and I extended. second longest run ever and I felt awesome pretty much the whole time. The scenery was incredible ranging from wooded trails to fields to picturesque roads. This contained everything I love about running and reminded me why I do this. Also gave me a bit more confidence about my fitness after a rough day yesterday.

this turned out to be basically a 40 mile week, which I think is ok. I didn't get an off day but one x-train and one short day. next week will have an off day.
