Comments:
Hoping we can get this one in the morning bc its long but can do at night if need be as well. We did this back at the end of July so would be nice to compare to. I think this is a good workout that will translate well for ladies hslf race...

warm up .5 miles easy
Run 3 miles moderately... Maybe 8:15 ish pace
3 min complete rest
Run 2 miles a bit faster , or close to 8 pace of possible
3 min rest
Run 1 mile fast... See what you can do.
I know this is a morning run and paces will largely depend on weather, hills, terrain etc.
But it would be nice if the 2 mile could be faster than the 3 and the 1 mile interval to be faster than the 2;)

6 miles in morning ... 8:20 pace first 3, 8 min next two, last one was 8 min as well.
3.1 miles in afternoon with club... 8 min, 7:30, 7:00 ... trying to beat the kids in the 20s.
