Comments:
Went to Wilson to do a steady aquajog, but when I got there I saw that the water had magically formed into a huge hill, so I decided to do the hill workout in the pool. (I know, convenient right!!!) 5 min warmup, 5*1:00 pickups with 1:00 easy, 5 min cool down, 5 min swim. Workouts are so cool because you work harder than usual, but they're done really fast. Just as I was about to get out, the lifeguards called everyone out of the pool because the landline wasn't working, so they wouldn't be able to call 911 if there was a problem, which I thought was sort of silly in an age where everyone has cell phones, but I guess there are rules? Didn't matter to me because I was done, but they seem to have a lot of problems there.
I also fast-walked 2.6 miles today to get places, and spent 3 hours throwing a 30 pound child around which was actually more exhausting than the pool. My left ankle has been hurting from rolling it on Saturday (which is why I didn't do anything yesterday). I tried wrapping it yesterday, but it didn't really help much so I just left it today. It doesn't hurt to walk on, but just feels bruised and sore to the touch or if I turn it at all. Hope it feels better by Thursday so I can run.
