turkey chase 2016

Comments:
Every year my family runs the 10k in Bethesda, competing for bragging rights at thanksgiving dinner. We got about 10 of us out there this year to run. Ana and I planned to do it together and try to beat our cousins and Rhianna joined us. We were doing well, chugging along at 8 min pace. We were st about mile 3.5 when I started to have an asthma attack. Rhianna and I stopped but Ana kept going, chasing after our cousin in law, Eric. While we were stopped, my cousin Noah caught back up to us. We caught him again once we got going but he had more left in the last 200 meters. My muscles were tired from having not been able to breathe for part of it so the second half was tough but we made it through. Ana unofficially won for the family! Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
