Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
We didn't end up leaving til 4 and we didn't get there til after 4:40 so I was stressing out a bit about warming up. I don't like having too much time to warm up but for the first meet it was a bit stressful. We ended up having a bit more time cause the meet was running behind. Fortunately my spikes still fit when I put them on. I did some strides and then realized they were lining everyone up so I ran over. Then line was really crowded and the start was chaotic. Apparently I went out way to fast for the first several laps, then slowed way down and speed up again at the end. I couldn't tell my pace at the time at all though, the beginning seemed really slow and I couldn't tell that I had slowed down I just knew that I had to work pretty hard. Despite not racing like I was supposed to, it was more of a practice go to get use to an indoor track. I had a headache afterwards so I'm glad we didn't end up racing the 4x8.
