Beaumont Half Marathon

Sleep: 6 hr. Accomplished what I came to Beaumont to do, win the half marathon, lead except for the first 0.5 mile or so, decent course and weather, almost non-existent crowd support, felt pretty good throughout the race, ran for place, not time, thanks to John Beath for convincing me to do the race and for his generous hospitality, stretch. 1st overall. Splits: 12:02 (6:01), 6:28, 6:26, 6:20, 6:30, 6:17, 6:22, 6:09, 7:05, 13:08 (6:34), 7:03.
