**goofed on the 2nd .25 interval...forgot i could look at the lap distance and totally miscalculated. oh well...also first run in new racing shoes...no pain, felt good, maybe a little big but i think it will work
Whether on own or at the make up clinic, we are going to shoot for short intervals today...
Definitely need some speed as long as it is not long and tedious ;)
Ok so even though there is no clinic, still hoping we can get this one in today or tom.
, I want today or Friday or to be some short intervals. It's ok if you cannot get to a track. Just use the watch. I am going to make it short since you Did just come off the race of your life but it is supposed to be speedy...
Warm up 1 mile easy
Run .25 miles (400m) fast
Jog 2 min
Run .12 miles(200m) fast
Jog 2 min
Repeat this set for a total of 3 sets.
So 3x400's and 3x 200's
Cooldown 1 to 2 miles easy for miealage..
As far as speed, I think you can manage to run in the high 8 to low 9 pace for all.
But don't think too much about it. Just go;)
