Comments:
This week was a big jump for me in terms of volume and intensity. Other than the constant soreness, I think it went well. I'm still glad the week is over though, because idk how much longer I could've kept it up before the benefits of the increased activity slip away. My arms and abs are so sore right now that I'm wondering whether I'll be able to complete everything required at practice tomorrow in a reasonable amount of time. I'll probably need a modified version hah (but really though). Today I ran the warmup and then ran about a mile out with everyone and then turned around. I was really tired on the way back but I didn't stop, just slowed down. I biked for 20 minutes when I got back to loosen up a bit, then stretched until they got back. I'm not sure how I did abs for 10-15 minutes considering that I couldn't do crunches during gym this morning because it hurt so much, but it happened and that's what really matters.
