I typically work 7a-3:30p on Monday's - it's my admin day where I process payroll, analyze the business, connect with partners, have one-on-ones, prioritize/plan for future promos, write the schedule.
In other words, it takes a long of "brain energy". And as Magness discusses in his book, "Peak Performance" studies show that the more you have to "do" (exert mental energy over various activities) the more performance can be hindered. So, Monday's will be my off/XT day to keep everything balanced.
