Weather: 70's! Cold! :)

Ahhh, vacation is glorious! Just eating a big block of cheese and letting the juices run down!

It's helped communicating and coordinating these outings with Sara and the fam - was able to get up to Auburn at 8a and the plan was to add a little more stimulus - the right addition to the recipe - to keep cooking away - so 3xK2!

Felt pretty solid the first 2 (15:40, 15:31) so on the last one I just wanted to see how it would feel running the whole time (I've been pow-hiking the super steep parts). Interesting, while the 3rd was my fastest (15:24) - it wasn't by much and my HR felt a touch higher. That was good sensory feedback to keep doing what I've been doing w/ mixing in hiking. It's not worth grabbing/reaching for seconds here and there - unless I'm going for a TT effort.

Got back at 10a, took Sadie to swim (with little Sharbait Stella too!) ... Was Jason-Derulo-ing it while Sara had a Derm appt with "Dr. Van Nostrand"! ... Fun time at swim and cool to see Sadie having become so confident in the water (this was her last swim lesson of the summer). Took the girls to Chipotle after and had to be on my game to tend to both (but I really try to empower Sadie to nurture Stella - our motto between the two of us has been "We're a team, let's do this together!" She loves it and often repeats that mantra which is solid.
