Drove over to the track and did the following workout:
7 x (2:00 on, 1:00 off)
The first and last ones felt kinda rough but the middle part of the workout was pretty good. I cut the last easy interval short so that I could get exactly 3.5 miles as the fartlek part of the workout. On each rep (on + off) I covered approximately 810 meters.
I feel tuned-up and ready to go early Sunday morning. My race starts at 6:20am rip. I guess it's a good thing I have been trying to train my body to get up early and go to bed early every day.
