Yachty Avenges My Nap

All I gotta say is RIP Lucas and Yachty is the hero that we truly need but not the one we deserved. I won't go into detail, but let's just say Yachty avenged my nap that interrupted by Lucas..... and Lucas was interrupted back lol. Get fuckkkkkked.

My workout was a 3.2 mile warmup, 6x1 mile threshold with 1 min standing recovery, and a 2.2 mile cooldown. I warmed up 3 miles with Yachty and Lucas who were running 5. It was a quality time getting to catch with my boi Yachty and hearing what he's been up to (also did know my dude was slaying the game).

The workout itself was ok...... honestly I didn't look at what once I was supposed to go before the workout. So I think I kept the repeats somewhere between tempo and threshold pace but I have no idea. I made a 1 mile loop around the Wonders field, so I ran almost entirely on grass (no spikes though). So the effort felt slightly uncomfortable but I didn't feel like I was giving it all. I think i dicked it a little in the beginning but I blame my exhaustion (AOP be piling on hours RIP).

Overall decent workout. We're getting a group to run tomorrow so that should be fun! EL is coming back to life even more!!
